How Your Experience Works

Step 1: Activate Your Gift (Today)

Step 2: Reserve Your Session

Around your 20-week scan, I'll invite you to officially reserve your spot.

• I ask for a refundable £99 portrait credit to secure your flexible date in my diary

• This isn't a fee - it's yours to use against any extra photos or products you love at your reveal

• We'll also have a planning consultation so everything is sorted long before baby arrives

Step 3: The Newborn Session

When baby arrives, we'll confirm your actual session date. Then on the day:

• We'll spend 2-4 hours in the studio together, completely baby-led

• If we need to stop for feeds or cuddles, that's absolutely fine

• I'll capture a variety of family photos, gorgeous curled-up newborn poses, and snuggly setups in adorable props

• You sit back, relax, and actually enjoy a hot drink for once while I take care of everything

Step 4: The Big Reveal

Around 1–2 weeks after your session, you'll come back to the studio to see your photos for the first time on the big screen.

• Together we'll choose the perfect photo to go alongside baby's scan photo and design your handcrafted folio

• If you've fallen in love with any other photos, you can put your £99 portrait credit toward digital collections or artwork

• If you're happy with just your folio, it's fully refunded after your appointment

I'm Katie Mitchell - pregnancy, baby and family photographer based in Longlevens, Gloucester. I've spent years helping mums capture the moments that sneak past before you've had a chance to blink. My sessions are relaxed and personal, and I love getting to tell your story.

Before this, I spent 17 years in the Army, which means I'm always prepared - so you don't have to be. I'll guide you through the whole experience, so you'll know exactly what to expect, every step of the way.

I'm a mum who's experienced the rollercoaster of fertility and pregnancy. So whatever your journey has looked like to get to this point - I'll make sure your photos do it justice.
