When is the best time to book? (And what if baby is early/late?)

The best time to book is during your pregnancy, ideally shortly after your 20-week scan.

This allows me to protect space in my diary around your due date so we can aim for the ideal 5–14 day window once your baby arrives.

If your baby is already here, don’t panic—it isn't 'too late', but we may need to adjust the style of the session as your baby becomes more alert.

Can my partner and other children be included?

Absolutely! I believe these are some of the most important photographs you will own .

Partners and siblings are included at no additional cost.

We usually do family and sibling portraits at the start of the session while everyone is fresh and toddlers are more likely to cooperate.

How much will I actually spend?

Including your booking fee, the minimum you can expect to spend is £499. Digital collections range from £299-£699. Your final investment depends on:

• How many photographs you fall in love with

• Whether you choose digital photographs, albums, or wall art

• The collection that suits your family best

What if I don't love my photos?

You pay a £200 session fee to secure your booking, but you don't choose your collection until your in-person reveal appointment.

How do you ensure my baby is safe during the session?

Safety is my absolute priority; I have 8+ years of hands-on experience and have completed multiple advanced newborn safety training courses.

I am also trained in paediatric first aid.

During the session, your baby is always supported by me or a parent, and certain complex poses are only ever created as "composites" (merging two photos) to ensure your baby is never at risk.

What if my baby doesn’t sleep or is fussy?

Awake babies are completely normal; most sessions involve a mix of awake and sleepy moments.

My sessions are entirely baby-led and last 2-4 hours so there is plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and cuddles without feeling rushed.

I use womb-like soothing techniques, including a toasty warm studio (26°C), white noise, and gentle vibrations to help them settle.

Do you offer 'Bump to Baby' (Maternity + Newborn) bundles?

Yes. Many families choose to document their whole story from anticipation to arrival. If you book a maternity session, you receive £50 off your newborn session. I also ensure both sessions match perfectly in tone and style so they can be displayed together as a beautiful gallery wall in your home.

Do you offer a 'Baby’s First Year' or 'Watch Me Grow' plan?

My Legacy newborn collection is designed specifically for families who want to capture every milestone. This collection includes a free sitter session (saving you £100) and £50 towards a cake smash or birthday photoshoot.
